    i've been burning a dvd to play in my home dvd for days now. have not been successful yet. i have a samsung m301 dvd player. according to this site, that dvd player is compatible with dvd -r,+r, +rw, and -rw. i've tried maxell +r, fuji -r, and memorex +rw. all play in my dvd rom on my pc but, not in my home dvd. can anybody tell me what the problem is? i would appreciate any help.

    more info is needed such as what software are you using to burn your dvds. it would be helpful if you filled out your computer specs as well.

    budz, i updated my profile to reflect my pc specs. the software i used was record now! and i also tried intervideo windvd creator. thanks for the quick reply.
