Easy DVD PAL to NTSC conversion?

Had a look through previous posts and my head is spinning.

Can anyone take me through step by step from the start?

First decide if you want just (a) the movie portion or if you want (b) the movie with all the menus etc.
(a) is easy
(b) harder and time consuming

Here is one way to convert

(a) method: you will need these sofware : YADE X, MPEG2WORKS (DVD CONVERTER) and TOAST

1) Rip the movie (just take the tracks) with YADE X into .vob files

2) take the .vob files and convert it with DVD CONVERTER (its part of MPEG2WORKS). This step takes awhile and really depends on the speed of your computer (aprox. 3 hrs for 4 GB movie on my G4 dual 1.25).

3)From there take the converted NTSC .vobs into TOAST (video tab) and burn. From what I remember that is it.

(b) method : you will need all the above software and DVD STUDIO

You will do alot more work with it if it has fancy menus and buttons etc.

My suggestion is to use the (a) method and save the time
