numbers in my chapter thumbnails in dlp

im doin my first dvd author with dlp and im getting the basic stuff to work. but i cant figure out why on my first chapter page which has 6 chapters with 10 seconds of motion has a big number 1,2, and 3 in my 1,2, and 3 chapter selections. there are no numbers in any other box. also on my main menu i have a motion menu backround with a title at the top and a play and chapter button at the bottom. i used a special font and used some shadow effects that look real nice but when i put the dvd in the the text is just plain block letters with no effects. the text looks right on all of my chapter menus though.

The titles look black because you didn't render motion. This will embed the nice version of the text into the video. You will get an avi file as output, which you will have to encode as mpeg-2 and re-import. Otherwise you just get the subpictures, which as a bitdepth of 1 (on or off) and look crap.

I don't know why your chapter menu is messed up, unless you have broken something by doing some manual tweaking afterward. If you created it just be the wizard, delete it and do it again to fix it.
