I am looking for a program that supports custom length menus. I am incorporating a slideshow for my menu that includes three songs and I want to loop it. I've tried tmpgenc dvd author but it only supports about 5-6 minutes. Any help would greatly be appeciated.

In trying Ulead Dvd Workshop, I was still dissapointed. It has many menu options but appararently it has a timeout feature as well. My menu includes 3 songs and right after the second song begins, everything starts back from the beginning.

How long are these menus? 3 songs? Like 3 full length songs? Is this for personal use, or are you doing this for someone else? For asthetic purposes (and for the sake of the person with the short attention span who may watch this) you may want to consider keeping your menus limited in length. There is nothing more annoying than an ultra long intro to a main menu. Especially when you can't wait to watch whatever it is you are watching.

    Grab pgcedit .

If you have been ripping you know whats , you can open the ripped folder and pgcedit will scan for buttons and sort everthing out .

From here you can learn alot about what commands are used and where , and what they point too .

After a while , you should be able to create what you want , and the best thing is pgcedit dosent complain about mixing 4:3 video with 16:9 , but as seperate tiles , just make sure all audio is the same type , ie 5.1 ac3 at 192k , and your video files should be the same frame rate , or you could run into problems .

So far I havent had any problems with mixed video's .
