  1. How would you go about converting Ogm files

    Video or Audio? The video is usually XVID or similar. I usually save out the OGG audio, using VirtualDub Mod, as a WAV, then convert or use that in a MPEG encoder. The video, if XVID, process like any other XVID.

    If you look in 'Tools' there is a OGM and OGG codec you will probably need. Along with a XVID codec if you don't have one. VLC Media Player can usually play them without any external codecs installed.

    BTW, covert to what? A little more information would be useful.

  3. Sorry about that lack of info. I want to Convert Ogm files to dvd files or at least mpeg 2 . I also want to add the subtitles in. I'll have to check out the programs you said earlier. I am able to play the ogm files so i have everything i need play te video

    Pick an encoder. Any encoder. Mainconcept, TMPGEnc, avi2dvd, you name it.

  6. Will avi2DVD get the subtiles from the ogm files, if not what can i do to get the subtiles from them ogm???

    Anything that takes input via dshow should encode with subs if it playsback with subs. Although TMPGEnc has some issues with directvobsub.
