Help with DVD Shrink Burning

I do hope you guys can help. I have a problem with DVD Shrink. The program reads the dvd no problem. Once I click backup I put my blank dvd+rw (datawrite) into the drive. Once I click on burn the whole program just shuts down, this has happened every time.

So it reads the film no problem, It worked only once for me using the same dvd discs,

Can anyone tell me what the problem is

DVDShrink doesn't burn, it uses either Nero or DVDDecrypter to burn. If you haven't got either of these installed.......

Download DVD Decrypter and set DVD Shrink to output as an ISO image when you go to backup a disc. Decrypter will burn the ISO image (the backup).

Then don't bother with Nero. I have Nero and I like the program, I use it for Data DVDs and CDs all the time. But if you are burning DVDs, especially from DVD Shrink, JUST USE DVD DECRYPTER. It works great. No reason to bother with anything else.

As I recently learned, if you're just making a 1:1 backup copy of a DVD, you don't even need DVD Shrink. DVD decrypter will rip and burn the DVD with the EXACT same results as DVD Shrink. Plus, DVD Decrypter is quicker! Couldn't ask for more!

Not sure if this helps but I was having the exact same problem with Nero.

It worked 2 days ago and just today it started doing that. I had installed some codecs and made some registry modifications in the meantime so I uninstalled Nero and the codecs, ran the Nero cleaning utility, then reinstalled everything.

Everything is back to normal. I think I mistakenly removed a registry setting that was replaced on the reinstall.

Still having same problem, Im going to remove Nero then as I think this is causing the problem. What is the Nero Cleaner? Also Dvd Decrypter just use this yes and try to burn from there yes. I'll give it a go, I think I tried last time took much longer than DVD shrink.

Really sorry for sounding stupid, but I spent nearly 3 hours on the computer until really late in the morning trying to burn a dvd and I got so annoyed, I knew I needed help from the experts.
