divx to dvd prob

hi,

i have tried converting a divx file to dvd,

it plays on pc,
it also plays on xbox and sons yamada dvd player

but my ever faithful plays anything pioneer sticks and is un watchable,

i have converted svcd's and they play on the pioneer ok

any ideas,

A little background might help. How about

How you converted it - software, process, guides etc
How you burned it - software
What did you burn it to - media

I also own a Pioneer (best DVD players, bar none) and have done quite a few conversion using a variety of methods. So far all play. Give me something to work with and I'll try to help.

The only thing my pioneer has ever refused to play was an SVCD-DVD. And even that played, but it just came out wrong, much like PAL does.

Maybe your book type is wrong? *shrug*

ok,

here goes usesd divxtodvd to covert then copytodvd to put todisc,

just won't play on the pioneer,

tried roxio same problem,

even put it throgh dvd shrink to see if it would read ok everything ok but same result
