I follow this guide to make a DVD from an avi file. https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/186739.php
I just did one with a source aspect ratio of 640x320. I followed that guide exact. I have a WSXGA+ screen. After authoring the file and everything I tested it with PowerDVD and I had black bars on all four sides of the video. It was like the video was being played in widescreen format within a 4:3 ratio box. Normally when I play fullscreen DVD's I get black vertical bars on the sides because my screen is a wide screen. I was getting that plus the horizontal bars on the top and bottom because the source itself is widescreen. Does anyone know why this might be? I dont want to burn the DVD if when I play it its just going to show a little picture surrounded by black bars.

The menus that I made with TDA are all fine. They have the black bars at the side because they are 4:3. No bars on the top and bottom.
