HI,
I have a letterbox version of a DIVx movie and I am trying to make a SVCD to play in my stand alone player. I use VDub to frame serve it over to TMPGEnc. The problem I have is getting the sizing correct. I just used the resize filter in VDub changing it to 480x480. Vertically the picture has the proper portion blacked out; horizontally the picture does not extend to the end of the screen on both sides. About 1/10 of the screen is blacked out on each side. Basically I have something close to a letterbox movie in a black frame. Could someone please provide the proper setting to make this work?
Thanks,
Marc

In TMPGEnc, do the following:
Under "Advanced":
Source aspect ratio = 1:1
Arrange method = Full Screen **Note, no preserve aspect ratio
Under the main tab
Aspect ration = 4:3
It should then fit your screen correctly
