  1. I have an mpeg2 @ 25fps. I've converted it to a divx/avi @ 23.976fps. I am going to be burning it to DVD so I need it at 29fps, and will convert it back to an mpeg2 with CCE SP.
But I have a question about pulldown. In CCE SP, I can choose either 2:3 or 3:2 pulldown. What should I be using? What is the difference?
Or should I not worry about Pulldown in CCE and use PullDownBatchFE on the mpeg after its encoded?
And what type of pulldown does PullDownBatchFE use?
    Thanks alot.

Generally you can use them interchangeably. 2:3 is more common and that is also what pulldownbatchFE uses. I'd use 2:3.

    2:3:2:3:2:3 is the same as
3:2:3:2:3:2 if you consider the 1st 2 of the top sequence to be the same frame as the 1st 2 of the bottom sequence.
It just depends on your "frame" of reference (pun intended)
This is what's known as the CADENCE. (Like military Left-Right-Left).

What you don't want to do is mix your cadences. It's much better to have the same cadence throughout a whole video. That way, it'll be understood better if IVTC gets involved.
