I'm working on a menu with custom transitions - basically when the button is activated, it zooms in to fill the screen before fading to the next menu. The way I have it set now is for the "transition" to be a movie clip between the 2 menus - all the motion and fades were created in Adobe Premiere. I'm happy with the way it works, however if watching the DVD and skipping through the chapters, the transition movies get played. It's not really a big deal, however I'd like to stop this if possible.
Should I make the transition another motion menu between the 2 menus, or is there a way to set things in DVDLP so that these clips only get played when selected via the button?

Thanks, I think that's the way I'll go - just have to work out the settings/auto activate and all that business!

A transition can either be a movie, or a motion menu (which is actually a movie). It's up to you to figure out what you want.

I would ideally like the transitions to only be able to play in their correct place, and not when searching the disc. I'll post a screenshot of my connections window later.

Just like to say that I used the menu option - I was over-thinking things and of course it was quite easy to accomplish.
Thanks for the input.
