Greetings all, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum...but here goes- I'm a newbie to posting, but I do have a little knowledge on burning vcd's/ dvd's from media files on my pc. My question is- I'd like to record a streaming DIVX clip onto my harddrive so I can convert and burn to vcd. Is there any video recorders that can capture DIVX(played thru a DIVX player-password protected,DRM?)? I use Cocosoft Streamdown to record windows media/real media files, but it's not doing it for a DIVX clip that I'm viewing on my pc. I've googled around for various different recorders, but couldn't find one that'll record thru a DIVX player. I tried a screen capture program a while ago (Camtasia?), but the output video quality was poor- I'd like to retain as much quality as possible. Any feedback/help with my dilemma would be appreciated.

BTW- my pc is P4 1.7, 512 ram running Win XP
