Ok, so I just replaced my pioneer 108 with the NEC 3520a. I updated the firmware to the 3.xxx whatever the latest release was. I got to burn...well Im getting about 9:30 secs on average. My pioneer averaged 7:30 @ 8x burns! I am using TY G02 discs.
Anyone know what the deal could be?

Thats the way the nec burns at 8x,a little slower for a better burn.
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
