    Heya everyone.

Here is the problem, I recently Got the naruto movie and i want to put it on to a dvd. I have been encoding my files With DVD santa so that the subtitles fit on the screen.

So i go to encode this Dvix AVI, and sure enough, i get a Unsupported Video Stream error message. This has never happened before.

So i tried to burn it without encoding, still using Dump ass Roxio cuz i can't find a decent program to use. Like the DVD santa, the dvd program can't read the file either.

I then tried to re-encode the file with virtual dub, I tried to remake the file as a Divx Movie again I also tried again with the Xvid Codec. None of them work.

I the movie runs just fine when watching it on any of my video players. I doesn't seem to be damaged at all? Does anyone know how to repair this file? Thanks

  2. Naruto is "Licensed Anime", meaning illegal.
    Quality is my policy.

As far as the DIVX, scan for bad frames, use a real encoder, not DVD Santa. Use something like TMPG, etc.

  5. The series was licensed, yes. But does that apply to the movie as well? Don't the have to buy the rights to the movie seperately...

The series has been licensed. The recently released movie is currently unlicensed.

Also - have you tried TMPGEnc? If you have the Dattebayo encoded and subbed release, it should work. I used TMPGEnc 3 Xpress and it worked fine for me.
