  1. hi

I have been using DVD Lab Pro for a couple of months now, and most of the time it works fine. However suddenly it will not compile anymore.

It doesn't matter what project I try, the compile process will start, and then anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes later, the red status bar will be about 3/4 of the way done, and the the message will say "done".

I don't get it........ I have even tried compiling previously completed projects, and they don't work anymore either.

Has anybody else encountered this? Is it just a crappy program?

If so, does anybody know any other programs that do similar things to DVD Lab Pro?

    Yes.

    No.

First thing to do, is reinstall it. There are any number of ways that files can get corrupt on a system.
Have you checked for trojans or viruses lately?
Are there any other programs you have recently installed (especially ones that have something to do with video)?

  3. MY PC is clean.
I reinstalled DVD Lab Pro, and I havn't installed anything recently.......

Its really weird, the test compile works fine, but I know the movie files are fine, because I tried compiling a DVD that I've burned succesfully in the past.

  4. as evidenced by looking at the first page of this forum, there are quite a few of us who are having this same problem suddenly.

hopefully someone will come up with an answer (a helpful one) soon.

I had this happen once, and I cleaned out the workspace folders, and compiled to a completely new folder. I think I also ran a rebuild of the motion menus.

Not sure if that will help, but I never continued to troubleshoot, as doing the above cleared things up...
