Sorry if this has been asked and answered before...
Are DVDs with a "0" region code the same as DVDs with an "ALL" region code? My Sony DVD manual (model DVP-S530D)says it plays DVDs coded "ALL". On-line auctions have all sorts of tempting "0" region DVDs for sale. Please help me so I can spend lots of money that I don't have on DVDs that I'd love to have.

All means it will play in all regions
0 means it has no region protection.
I think All is used on DVDS and 0 to refer to what players will play.
But they r similar. THey both can be played on any DVD player. -
Will my TV (Sony VEGA) be able to play the signal without a converter? I don't know if these are PAL DVDs or not.

play and see
if everything is normal, u have either an NTSC DVD or a player that can convert PAL TO NTSC.
IF u see black and white n the picture is off, u have pal and are screwed.
