I'm getting it at the office and think it might have some valid uses for home use.
Its purpose is to create a virtual operating system within a window. Use the virtual system to install beta development software or environments. If you screw it up its no big deal because the VOS is contained within a file, so just restore it from a back up.
I was wondering how it might protect the user from the crap you get from surfing.
Has anyone tried this software?

Oh yeah. Works fine, but my main complaint is that the app installs several services and leaves them loaded even if you don't run the program.

i used to run it with 512mb or ram just fine.. i wouldnt call that a crapload..
its a pretty cool little program. i havent had any serious use for it aside from testing questionable downloads to make sure they werent viri.. -
