HTPC Forum?

Could there be room here for an HTPC forum?

I realize that there are sites dedicated to this, however I also realize that apart from video conversion and media authoring, several subforums comprise of what HTPC is all about.

TV Capturing and cards, capture and PVR applications, playback, "how to build a PC for TV capturing and editing", etc.

Perhaps such a forum would promote the entertainment aspect of what a HTPC (readymade or home-built) can offer.

A HTPC forum gonna end up an "overall" forum (capturing, DVB, edit, audio, computers...) and that is not what I wish to see...
After all, we cover all the aspects of HTPC on various sections here, and I believe that this way is better

Why do you say that?
There's already a capturing forum, editing forum, computer troubleshooting forum.

The only thing is this site is for VCD/DVD's, or in other words, disc related video, unless I'm mistaken.

IMO . . .

A HTPC forum would be nice for people to specifically research setting up a PC for integration with their Home Theater set-up. Hopefully it wouldn't become a catch all for caturing, playing, DVB, etc. quations, yet it deal with those aspects as they integrate with a HTPC set-up. So, the questions that should be asked would be more like "how do I set up my (capture card) to allow PVR functions?" and "is there a remote available that works with (media playback software)?" but not "my capture card is having driver conflicts, how do I fix it?" and "how do I get motion menus with (authoring program)."

Granted, you find the wrong kinds of questions being posted in that forum, but you also find that in every other forum too.

Also, the HTPC forum could deal with cases, etc. because more people are concerned with building a computer with a case that fits in with their other HT equipment.

It is for Video on all past, present and future forms!

About the sections:
How to set up a HTPC: Computer section
PVRs on HTPC: Capture section
DVB on HTPC: DVB secrion
Audio on HTPC: Audio Section

I don't see any real reason for a HTPC forum.
