Pioneer 109 Dual Layer Burning Problems

Hi Folks,

I'm having problems burning a Dual Layered disc with my Pioneer 109. I have upgraded the firmware to version 1.4 (the latest version), yet everytime I try to burn a dual layer disc, I get an error message along the lines of not having enough space on the target disc.

I am using Verbatim Dual Layer DVDs and I can't even make a straight backup of an existing Dual Layer Disc.
I have tried using Nero, Easy DVD Creator, CloneDVD2 and DVDShrink. None of them appear to like burning a Dual Layer Disc.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Just letting you know that I'm trying to burn using Verbatim DVD+R DL media.

Is there anywhere where I can confirm that this media is compatible with this particular Burner?

i have had the same problem just now with my pioneer 110d drive. it has been burning dual layer media fine and now all of a sudden the last couple of disc's it will burn them a little bit them give an error to the effect of not enough space....
