  2. What do you mean by create links (instead of just items). I believe that font seletion for links in Nero used for font of Next >> or << Previous in menu if your have like 3 menu pages. Sorry I'm not so sure because have not used NERO in a very long long long time

  3. i meant links as in where u can click on it and it'll take you automatically to that chapter....i.e. if i have a music video on the 10th chapter, i'm hoping i can create a link (i guess clickable or selectable) in the menu that would automatically take me to that 10th chapter with the music video....(similar to the chapter selection in real DVDs)

VCD menus are not like DVD menus. You can't select an item with the arrow keys and hit enter. VCD menus only use the number keys and the previous and next keys on your player/remote but DVDs use the arrow and enter keys.
So you'll have to write something like "Press 10 to go to Song #10", and then you'll have to press 10 to go to that.
I only dream in black & white...

  5. if that's the case, y does nero have an option to select the font for links, even though it already has an option to select the font for items....

basically, if Dhruv is right, there's no need for links, only items...yet nero has an option to select the font for links (clickable or selectable)?

  7. Who knows what the people at Ahead were actually thinking...

VCDs can have selectable hotspots but in terms of stand-alone players, pretty much only CD-i players support these. That is, essentially no modern stand-alone S/VCD or DVD player support these.

  8. As I mention before, nero does not support clickable or selectable menu, and option "select font for link" is used for select fonts (as it says) for "next or previous page menu" (you can try to add 2 menu pages and change font and that will change text at the bottom which tell you to go >> ?-? (next page) or 1-? << (previous page)
I personnally stop using NERO for a very long time due to FF/RW problem and unchangable menu style, but still I think it is good enough for all beginners to start with.
