I use bottom field first for DV and 25fps for PAL. Video mode: Interlaced.
    Please help.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Increase the bitrate, use VBR 2pass, set DC component precision to 10.

    Thank you, reboot

I've already made meny trials with VBR 2pass, 5000 to 8500 kbps, interlaced/progressive but CD was 9. Now tried CD=10. Without improvement. Objects moving horizontally steel blinking. I paid attention a regular TV broadcasting do it too, but much less.
VBR or CBR or high/low bitrate don't influence the problem. Any suggestions?

    Try changing your field patterns.
    ICBM target coordinates:
    26° 14' 10.16"N -- 80° 16' 0.91"W

  6. Are you viewing it on the PC or on a TV?
    PC's don't do interlaced well.
On a TV, it may look perfect.
Have you checked the source to see if it's jerky at all?

Yes, now I know what was a problem. Encoded with a progressive mode video caused this blinking. I tried interlaced mode - a result is no jerky. But generally a picture is not looking so clear as progressive.
Please advice how to improve (to clear) an interlaced picture.

    Thanks in advance.
