DVD starts too soon in Smart Ripper!

I tried to start my first burning mission last night. I printed off the entire Sefy's Classical Newbie DVD Conversion Guide, text, pics, and all.

The first part is to open Smart Ripper and make your settings identical to the pic shown. If I have the DVD in already, it automatically starts playing the DVD! When do I put the DVD in?

I just noticed something in the Newbie guide. I went back to look at it again because something wasn't jiving. I noticed at the beginning (before you click to go into the directions) it mentions Nero. Do I need Nero or VCDEasy or that type of program besides the others you guys have helped me with lately?

Tracey-SAN! i recomened NERO it is very easy,you can stink like a bee with this software Burner...with VCDeasy it is easy too and Free software and you can folow the guide on the AUTHOR Section and you can fly like a butterfly with this one

If you advise me on Nero, I would prefer that one. What do you think?

Technicly I called it that cause unlike the new guide it uses the older interface of all the programs in one page
