Here is the situation:
If I capture a an mpeg2 with MMC 8.7 it plays smooth as silk. But if I edit the video with Womble mpeg2vcr the newly edited video is choppy...mainly choppy when there is a scene change.
I do not have this problem if I encode my captured video through TMPGEnc first and then edit it.
I have tried a fresh re-install of my o/s and the ati drivers and MMC...no luck.
However I dont think the problem is with the MMC mpg capture, as the problem occurs after I edit the video with mpeg2vcr
Can anyone please help?
Thank you.

I used to have that problem when I used an older version of the software. Once I started using version 3.14 the problem went away.
