  1. Hi all, I´ve been getting DVD from avi for long time already using CCE encoder with no trouble on my desktop. REcently I bought a laptop (Dell 9300) and I tried to use it in the same way (same configuration) but every movie gets like losing frames. I goes no smooth at all. I changed versions, congif and everything I could think about, no way! I used a much more simple prog to convert avi to dvd and it works fine (but I have no control on the characteristics of the final movie), so I guess it is not the notebook. So, should I change something on the CCE configuration? Is there anything I don´t know about and laptops? Please any advice will be very welcome, I`m getting quite upset when after 4 hours encoding I have to through the whole thing to the trash

Are you converting formats (PAL->NTSC or NTSC->PAL) ? What are your source and target details ?

  3. Just converting avi (DIvX, Xvid) (PAL) to DVD (PAL) no other conversions. I use Avisynth to serve frames to CEE and DVDlab for authoring. I did not change the settings of CEE from the desktop to the laptop so I can no understand why is so poor the results with the last one.
