    which tool should I use to convert dvd subtitls (IFO - VOB) into IDX / SUB???

    Install VobSub (freeware), go in the Program Files\Gabest\VobSub and open VobSub Configure.lnk
    A window will pop up. You chose open and select "Ifo and Vobs, for creating idx/sub (*.ifo)". You open the VIDEO_TS folder of the DVD you want to rip subtitles from and then you get a window in which you have the option to chose which subtitles the idx/sub will contain and which it will not

    I tried your solution , but could find no "configure.lnk" option. I see other configure options, but no "configure.lnk> Using version 2.23???
