  1. Can I use any encoder programs from tmpgenc to use with DVD Rebuilder instead of CCE?
    Thanks.

  2. I don't think so. There's free encoders you can use with Rebuilder like HC which is the current favorite of many. You do have to edit the Rebuilder.ini to get it to work.

Not in the latest versions - there is a path input to HC you can specify now. Much easier. And HC is proving itself to be a very good encoder, albeit a little on the slow side, but quality is excellent. I can't tell the results apart from CCE SP 2.70 in many cases.

  4. I downloaded Rebuilder .85 free version and I don't see a path to HC.

Sorry, I'm speaking of the PRO version, as of v81.

  6. Well if he doesn't want to pay for the Pro version and wants the free version, then he'll have to edit the REbuilder.ini file and change the line that points to the QuEnc.exe to the HC_Batch.exe (then use QuEnc mode). It also needs an HC.ini file in the same folder as the HC_Batch.exe like this:

    *maxbitrate 8000
    *matrix qlb
    *profile best
    *logfile C:\Program Files\DVD-RB\HC\test.log

it's a donation, but well worth it.
Yes, otherwise you do it manually.
