  1. i always use womble to join mpeg2's and never had a problem with it.
but the latest 2 i've tried to join won't join.
it gets to 50% then goes straight to 100%
the output file is only the first mpeg2
i've marked in and out properly.
i think it's something to do with the mpegs not, womble.
any ideas how to fix it?

I have seen this also. Appears when the file is badly damaged. Remember that WOMBLE does not re-encode the entire file. Try the gop fixer in WOMBLE to repair the file before merging.

  3. that worked a treat thanks.
i used virtual dub to check for errors but there was none.
when i used gop fixer it found DVD GOP file violations and fixed them,
ive not got a clue what that means but it's working now.

  4. oh dear more problems
the mpeg is a SVCD type, when i put it into DVD lab pro it has to transcode audio to 48kHZ.
but when it transcodes audio it only does it for the first half of mpeg.

  5. i used this from reboot in other post
    Rip audio in virtualdubmod.
    Transcode in ffmpeggui.
    Import to DVDLab.
but i used goldwave instead of virtualdubmod.
now i can take dog out for walk he's had his legs crossed needing the toilet. but i could'nt leave pc till i fixed problem!

edit u do'nt even have to extract audio first. just use the mpeg2 in ffmpeggui
