I was looking into the WinTV GO video card b/c several have suggested it to me in order to capture analog footage from my hi 8's. The card looks to me as if it only has a cable input and a video input. How is audio captured on thid card? My only guess is that it is through the sound card. My sound card doesn't have the red and white jack but rather the pink, blue, etc. How do I capture the audio and if it is through the video card is it usually in sync?

You would need to get an adapter which changes the red and white RCA jacks into the headphone type jack. I haven't had any audio synch issues whatsoever no matter how I'm capturing audio. I have the WinTV-Go FM
