  1. I'm using virtual dub 1.5.10 and trying to convert raw avi file to divx. I am encountering 2 problems. One is I don't know how to load lame MP3 codec to virtual dub so that I can select it under the audio tab -> compression option. When I downloaded lame mp3, there are no setup or install files. Also when I do a conversion, my final divx file is upside down. I'm relatively new at this so any help would be great. Thanks

Simple answer, use 'Flip Vertically' from filters selection.

EDIT: For Lame, to install the ACM codec just extract all files and right click on the LameACM.inf and select Install.

To use, you select Audio, Full Processing then Compression and you should see it, at least with VD 1.5.10.

Never heard of video flipping occuring in VDub. Are you sure that it isn't a DivX playback issue?
