newbie needs urgent help!

hi...i just have a simple problem...i just burned my first vcd today but when i played it on my dvd player.....the screen was too big and didn't fit on my tv screen....the subtitles has been cut off (it was an anime)......i don't really know what to do......i followed everything in the tmpg avi to mpg instruction.....any help will be appreciated.......thanks

Hello, about all I can tell you is to sit in a comfortable
chair in front of your computer, grab a sandwich and a
large glass of ice tea and click on the forums and read,
read, read, and just maybe you might find a thread with
