mpeg file ok till cut

I have aproblem with mpeg-1 file which plays fine on my pc. But when I cut it in two (so I can burn it)using TMPGEnc both files have problems...First one starts blocking (but not at the same point) and the 2nd one gives a green screen or same problem as first cut. I am setting the MPEG-1 VCD option in TMPGEnc cut/merge option selection. The file was encoded (from AVI) using the TMPGEnc. All help welcome.

If you have a problem with cutting in tmpgenc, so don't cut then. You can use "Source frame range" while encoding with TMPGenc.
