Why do images re-load every time I refresh my browser or, when I come
back the next day (even when no new post was made on a page) the
images continue to reload every time ??

I recall in the past, this didn't happen, and the page would load
    up instantly

If you go to link below, you'll see what I mean (if you are on
dial-up especially) and see for yourself if this happens:

    --> Panasonic DMR-ES10 tests

I'm on dialup, and this is very enoying. Especially, when I'm
revising my post (assuming I make one) and when the page refreshes
with my revised note, it continues to reload every image.

    I don't understand this. Shouldn't everything be cached ??
I'm still using Opera (now v7.5) and even my Netscape does the same
    thing.

    Is this FORUM responsible ??

Thanks for any input on this matter.

    I'd say Browser settings.

I know IE has the following options:

Sounds to me like either your cache is full, or there's some other setting up the creek.

I guess you could always get a quicker internet connection
    If in doubt, Google it.

Even if your settings are correct it can still happen sometimes. If you suspect a page should have been updated but hasn't, a quick cure is to hold down the ctrl-key while clicking on the page refresh button.
