i use vidi in osx often. it works perfect. but i need an app to transfer dv in os9.
i have been using my g4 as a vcr for some time using vidi and a dvcam. the dvcam is hooked up to a digital cable box. i set the timer in vidi and then watch the show later.
recently i have had to remove the g4 from this location and only have an older final cut pro machine that will only run os9 left to complete this task.
the machine runs well, an old 9600 with g3/500 cpu but osx doesnt work well on it at all. i have done hours upon hours of non-timed dv transfer in final cut pro on this machine.
i've never found software that will do timed dv transfer in os9. is there any?

BTVPro and TV Reminder work quite well together in OS9:

those look like they will work! thanks.
took a few days of looking at the apps to figure it out, it looks like BTV will do it by itself.
i got kinda spoiled with vidi as i used it to record hundreds and hundreds of hours of tv for later viewing. -
You only need TV Reminder if you want to schedule BTVPro to record when you're not around.
