sounds to me like you weren't in the message window anymore and then the backspace key reverts to the back button in IE
-
that be it.... not cool after I spent some time on starting a new post.
oh well ... just learned something new.

Happens to me too, if I don't click in the message window
-
Sometimes, but not always...if you hit the forward button (or Shift+Backspace) what you typed will still be there.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
ya that happens to me sometime, if you just press alt+right arrow it will bring you back to your reply and it will still be there, i just tried it now and it worked fine.

If I hit the submit button and it don't immediately get submitted I really quick highlight and copy the post.
-
I always hit Ctrl+A (Select All), then Ctrl+C (Copy) on my post before I click Submit, just in case. There's nothing worse than typing up a very detailed response, losing it, then trying to remember word for word what you typed.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
