  1. How do I tell premiere 1.5 to display my entire .bmp or .jpg files without any stretching or changes to the image.

When I look at the monitor window its zoomed in the center of the image as well as the sequence window.

I looked at the interpret footage, its set to "use aspect ratio from file", but it only displays a small portion of the center of the image.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks!

    Matt

  2. You need to tell Premiere to do this when you are creating a project. When choosing project options go to Custom Settings> General and put a check in the box that reads Scale clips to project dimensions when editing to sequence. That should solve the problem.

You can also scale individual clips (like still images) by:
    1. Clicking on the clip (image) on the timeline.
    2. Select the Effect Controls tab in the Monitor window.
    3. Select the Motion effect under Fixed Effects and adjust the Scale.
