I'm still trying to figure out what "renage" means.

"What the hell does 'renage' mean?" exclaimed Johnny Quest to Hadji. Suddenly Bandit, Johnny's dog, leaped up and bit his larynx so he couldn't ask stupid questions anymore. So there was only one thing to do. Namely, kill them all off. It was a lucky thing for the Wiggle that a meteor was moving towards the Earth. Really, really, fast.

    so there...

  6. I thought it was a typo that should read "range".

But even if it said "out of range 320" I wouldn't have a clue. Although 320 might be referring to a resolution. What are the avi specs?

  7. Do you mean "Range"? I would say it has somthing to do with the "Video Size" aspect ratio.

What are you starting with? and trying to end up with?
Try to post a Gspot screen shot of the "Video File" Info.

Well, he's responded to his original post twice, and didn't bother to clarify what "renage" means (or that it was a typo). I therefore have to conclude that "renage" was the word he wanted to use. I have no idea what an "out of renage" error refers to.

Maybe if he "cut and pasted" the error (or even took a screen pick of the offending error), he could eliminate any typos on his part, plus we would probably get the correct error context.

Probable causes: Bad source file. Followed closely by Bad codec.

You might want to go back and look at SIRCOOKS's original post. It seems he did use the word "range" and not "renage" as you've been suggesting.

As to his quesition, SIRCOOKS might want to run it through google. There are some entries on the TMPGEnc and Club Freaks forums that might provide some useful information.

If you look closely, you'll see that he edited his original message as follows:

Yes, you are the most important person so someone must come and help you with your problem... Since no one has been able to give you an answer, then yes, the reason for that must be because there is a conspiracy against you.

You can help yourself by providing a little bit more information. For example, the specifications of your source media file. What are your encoding settings. Etc.

As a shot in the dark, I agree with mats.hogberg. It is probably a source file or codec problem.

    Regards.
