  1. I just started dont really know that much, I got it to rip and everthing it works perfect when I play it back on the computer, but when I put it in the dvd player it plays the first 4-5 sec. of it and then shuts off.
I asked around but not much response only thing that I heard was to change my media I did it does the same. So if anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  2. Check your media is correct. What type of media are you using and where did you buy it at.
Hopefully not compusa. What dvd player do you have and how old is it?
There could be simple solution to all of this. Try playing your movies on another player and see if that helps. If it does it again it could be you need to change your burning program or maybe just reinstall it. Who knows but give it shot

  3. What do you mean by "shuts off"?
    Is this your first backup?
Does your backup have a menu?

  5. DVD-RW compatibility is spotty at best. You might want to roll the dice on a DVDR to see if your setup (hardware/software/playback) will work.

That being said, I would immediately lose DVD Wizard Pro. Rock solid freeware exists that will take you from rip to burn easily.
Just download DVD Shrink & DVD Decrypter.
Install & peruse the many guides available.
You'll be making working backups in no time.
    Post back with any questions.
