Not a bad idea. It's really a topic on its own, even if it's also related to type of end product (different solutions for VCD/SVCD/DVD).

Hi,
Certainly. There are always subtitle questions and there spread out over several forums....
KevinDonatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
That does sound good. I recently had problems with Hero & House of Flying Daggers. In order to get subs up I have to select it on my dvd player. Original has them appear automatically. Dvddecrypter -> Shrink -> copytodvd.
What We Do In Life, Echoes In Eternity.... -
I say nay (NO). While all visual media can use subs, the application is completely different depending on the technologies involved. Questions are best directed where the experts hang out imo.
If you are going to make a subtitle forum, you may as well make an audio forum as well, as the same situation applies.

umm...
I change my vote. -

Yes. I see quite a few subtitle posts.
I know next to noting about subtitles and have never used them. But this being an international forum, I can see their value.
Having a separate forum would probably help members find needed info without as much searching. (Or asking the same questions over and over.)
