  1. Can anybody recommend any websites, books and/or programs that could help me build a nice website? I'm as noob as they come but I've got half (just half) a brain. I don't mind investing in a program if it will help me accomplish this fairly easily. Thanks!

    Try www.coffeecup.com The edotior they have is both a visual editor (simialr to working with Word) and a text editor so you can manually insert the code.

    It's the only thing I use.

    It's really a great program because you can do it visually and always look at the code to see what's going. That's important if you want to move onto making more complex pages that re customised even further or for modifying pages that were not created with the visual editor. Originally it was a text editor, only. I haven't used the visual editor but it looked pretty simple. Once you learn a little even creating simple pages is simple with just the text editor.

    I use mainly for editing and modifying files. It highlights the important tags etc... The added bonus is you get upgrades ffor life, they've held to that part of the bargain so far. Not many companies have, they simply discontinued the name and packaged under a different title to avoid it.
