    Yes, it is possible but the quality may not be good. But there are exceptions. I have a DVD haredware decoder that had a TV out daughterboard and the quality was quite good. You could buy a video card with TV output (e.g. ATI's AIW) and use it to view DVDs on your television. As I said in the begining the quality varies with the card.

  4. If you want the best TV out quality you want a hollywood magic + card. It costs less than $50. The AIW (I have both this card and a Hollywood Magic) is the best all in one card but if you aren't a gamer and don't want the VIVO options then you WANT a Hollywood Magic. The picture quality kicks AIWs ass.
