Please post the Best offers on Blank Dvds you find

I have been reading a lot, I have been searching a lot, but no matter how much I read or search, I always have the feeling that maybe there is another offer better than the one I found by myself. This is the reason why I thought of this thread. If I can search and find a good offer, 100 people may have more chances to find better ones and therefore, share their finds with the rest, and help the others to make good buys and save money.

What do you have to do?, when you see a good offer, post it here, so the rest would know and buy from there. If someone else finds another offer, a better one, you will know and save money.

Share your buying places and offers, and give others the chance to save money at the same time.

I've burned about 350 of them, 2 had problems. Most burn at 8x with the NEC 3500, sometimes when the burner tries to go to 6x or 8x it will drop back to 4x. 350 Fuji TY burns that never once happened. The discs that burn at 4x seem to play fine, the ones I've tried anyway. I don't trust them enough to send to other people, but they are fine for me.

I have a Lite-On and It would not let me burn them faster than 4X, and so far all of them are good, I hope I don't bump with a coaster soon.

Well, as this is an international board, I'm not sure if it's gonna help you alot - If I find TY media @$.10 each at my local supplier here in Gothenburg, Sweden, what good will that do you in Ecuador?

I made this thread without my personal benefit in mind, but for the whole comunity. Maybe somebody in Sweden can purchase them there if you gave us the link. As for me, I can purchase things from anyplace in the US, I have an account with a courier and I can use their phisical address as my own and have the things I buy in a couple days later from the day they receive it. It's a little more expensive, but that's better than not having an alternative.

Fujifilm 8x DVD+R is also Taiyo (I got a hundred for 39.99), specials do vary though every week is different. I have noticed a slight increase lately to about $23 for 50 last I bought was Sony (pretty good)

I guess these are CMC. I never had any problems with NEC3500, maybe not so good with other drives

Linkyo 8x DVD-R .26/ea. - Fake TY???? I don't know, but I do know they burn @ 12x in my Memorex burner and i never had a coaster or no play in many standalones. I swear by them.

If you just check Newegg, Supermedia, Meritline, and Amazon, there is always something going on on the weekends. Usually it rotates between Ritek, Verbatim, and some kind of coupon or shipping deal on TY. I have accumulated enough for a few years from these sources and I am glad I did as Ritek quality has tanked while I have some of the best G05s and R03s I have ever scanned.

Given prices a year ago at $1 per for quality discs, I will buy at $30-$35 with shipping. With Verbatim +R and -R (MCC), and TY G01s and G02s at $30 (someday these will be gone and you will be kicking yourself. Remember the great Prodisc S03s?) there really is no point in going for anything else. Face it, if you don't like MCC and TY there is no pleasing you.

This weekend Supermedia has Verbatim -R for $35.
