    Hi all,

    I've got a file I wish to put on DVD media and play on my DVD player. The file is an IMG file! What do I need to do in order to make it into a MPEG-2 Files. I usually use TMPGEnc with TMPGEnc Author followed by Nero but this file won't convert for some reason. Please help.

    Img file is basically an iso file,try burning it with dvd decrypter.Maybe img can be put in the glossary since its a common asked file format?

    You should find out about the file formats before randomly downloading them. What if it was a Mac file (assuming you have a PC)? You'd be out of luck.

    Are you sure it's even a DVD file? It may be an image of software.

  4. Use Dameon tools to load the IMG file. Dameon tool will create a virtual drive (F:, G: ...). Then see if you can play the "contents" of the virtual drive.
    When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.
