I'm converting 6-chan AC3 to 2-chan MP3 using BeSweet. I find the dialog a bit hard to make out in the original AC3...in other words, I think the surround effects are overpowering the speech.

How can I boost the speech only?

I would like to set the AZID parameters to optimize speech.

Here is the AZID part of my BeSweet Log:

    [00:00:00:032] | Input Channels Mode: 3/2, Bitrate: 448kbps
[00:00:00:032] | Output Stereo mode: Dolby surround compatible
    [00:00:00:032] | Total Gain: 10.000dB, Compression: Normal
[00:00:00:032] | LFE levels: To LR -3.0dB, To LFE 0.0dB
[00:00:00:032] | Center mix level: BSI
[00:00:00:032] | Surround mix level: BSI
    [00:00:00:032] | Dialog normalization: -4dB
[00:00:00:032] | Rear channels filtering: No
    [00:00:00:032] | Source Sample-Rate: 48.0KHz

If I changed Dialog normalization to -2dB, would that help? Would any of the other settings be helpful to change?

Most of the dialogue will in the centre channel, so push it up a bit.
