  1. Dear friends,

I have a question: is it good to let TMPGEnc Plus make the audio of my MPEG 2 ? Or is there a good application to make the sound of my SVCDs ? I´ve heard of tooLame, is it good ?

Yes, tooLame is considered the best mp2 encoder around. TMPGEnc (used to) have a bad rumor when it comes to audio encoding.

  3. You can use tooLame in TMPGEnc if you want by bypassing the internal engine. Go to Environmental Settings > Audio Engine. And define tooLame.exe as the external encoder for MPEG-1 Layer II audio.
