hi friends, I'm trying to encode my vob's files into divx using AutoGK and divx codec 5.2.1 but always my pc hangup in the first pass, I only can reboot because my pc completly hanged.
Do you have any idea why is happening this to me? and any idea of how can I solve this?

Your CPU may be overheating. I use a program called SpeedFan to check it's temperature, you can also control fan speed with the program. Using AutoGK heats up my CPU more than anything else that I use on my computer. You may need to better ventilate your computer - put a better fan/heatsink on you CPU, etc.

what is your room temperature?? if the avg temp in the room is quite hot then it takes even less time/load to heat up the CPU.. try running prime95 (?) or getting excel to calculate 22/7 to 8million decimal places for around 24 hours...
