  1. I made VCDs w/menues in Pinnacle's Studio 8 software. My PowerDVD software and this site says I can play them in PowerDVD, but I can't. They can be seen in WMP, but the menues don't work. I have an Artec DVD-ROM and a Sony DRU-510A DVD-RW. The firmware is updated on both drives. The PowerDVD 4.0 patch has been updated. I've tried several different brands of disks. I have installed ASPI. I've read this site, tried obvious things, but everything I do is still the same: no VCD.
    I'm running a fast P4 XP machine.
    Anybody got any ideas?

On the player-at right most-there is a button for opening the number pad-click to get number pad.
Select menu items using number pad.

  3. I was hoping that I would feel stupid and it would be that easy. But no such luck. The keypad or Play button did not work for either of my two drives, two different brands of discs, or menued and non-menued productions. This is driving me nuts. I need to see my VCD discs on my computer. I'm told it's easy.
