    I've watched those JVC's over the past 4 months- they've been selling around the $300 mark (or more, watched a bid war push one to $500!!) unless they are broke or no remote. I bought a factory refurb 9911 for $230 and said screw the inflated E-bay prices. This 9911 is brand new.

  3. The medical S-VHS VCR's are supposed to be very good (high end image quality for diagnosing). Most have built in full frame TBC/Frame Synchronizers that ensure image accuracy and allow for perfect freeze framing. They're expensive, and very well made. Sometimes one will go for cheap on eBay, but generally people know what they are and what they are worth. They are probably a great alternative to a full size broadcast machine due to their smaller size alone!
