  1. I've converted a file from avi to m2v extracted the audio from the avi as ac3 then created a project with TMPGEnc and burnt on to DVD. The only problem is the audio. It's hard to explain but when there is meant to be audio the sound is very strange, the people talking sound like monsters!!!!! I know crap explanation. The audio is in sync with the video and the audio is fine on the original avi file.

    Does anyone have any ideas????

    Thanks

  6. How did you extract the audio out of AVI ? Use VirtualDubMod to demux AC3. Does the extracted AC3 play properly ?

    Many times this path will solve the problem

    AC3 -> WAV using HeadAC3he
    WAV -> AC3 using ffmpegui.

  7. Weird...

    I just tested the DVD on another player and it played just fine.

    I extracted the audio directly from Abode Photoshop Pro Media Encoder.

    Maybe it has domething to do with the sample rate and my stand alone player.

    Sorry about the confusion above. I meant Adobe Premiere Pro....
