  1. I really have no idea what's going on. When I encode movies to m2v files from TMPGEnc everything works fine. When I extract and reencode audio from BeLight if works fine. When I use TMPG DVD author to create the TS_VIDEO/AUDIO folder everything works fine. Before I burn the Volume 1 folder i checked all the movies and everything looks good so I burn it using Nero. When I play it on any DVD Player however, some episodes start freezing at exact points or some later on in the dvd won't play at all.

Is there a limit on how many movies you can have on a DVD at one time. I was trying to put like 15 cartoon episodes on 1 dvd but so far haven't been successful.

What happens when you play the DVD in your PC ?

What about using TMPGEnc DVD Author's inbuilt burning tool ?

I'm leaning towards media being the issue here, but Nero has been known to cause problems for lots of people also.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Watch the 4.1 gig limit , its the safe limit for all dvd players .

Try imagetools to burn the project , it creates the need folders and places all the video in the video_ts folder automatically for you .

    See how that gose .

  4. hmmm....i haven't heard about the 4.1 saftey limit. Most of my dvds i create are around 4.3-4.5 so could that be causing it? I've used both nero and roxio and they both do the same things. I doubt it's media because burning only one movie works great. Not to mention, i'm using a modded xbox for dvd player so it has a pc dvd-rom.

Me neither. I'm yet to see a player that has any problems with DVDs right up to 4480MB.

4.1GB sounds more like a "bad media safety limit" to me
    If in doubt, Google it.

  6. BeLight's AC3 audio output isn't known for it's reliability. Something about it can be slightly out of spec, and can cause problems.
Try mp2 audio out from tmpgenc, or AC3 from tmpgenc's audio player (if you have it).
It could also be something simple like a setting in tmpgenc, outputting non-compliant video.
