how do u put mp3 into the menu backround...
i.e convert mp3 to proper format? -
You need to convert it to the same audio format as used on your music clips. MP3 is not permissable, and DLP won't reencode it for you unless you have the tmpgenc AC3 encoder. If you don't want AC3 output then this won't help anyway.
You should have started with a simpler project in a simpler package.Read my blog here.

ok i fugured out how to convert the mp3 to ac3.
but now in the preview screens when the video loops so does the audio? -
That's DVD spec.
If you want the video to run the same length as audio on a menu, you need a longer video.
You could also duplicate the video as many times as needed, and join them all into one repeating video.Cheers, Jim

no i want the whole song to play and not loop when the 30second preview loops?
-
I just explained that you can't.
If you want the whole song to play, you need to have video the same length.
If you don't have a video that long, just duplicate the one you have, and join the two together, so the video is now double length. If that's not enough, dupe the video and join again, now it's 4x longer. If that's not enough, repeat as needed, until video is the same length as audio.Cheers, Jim
